Student Spotlight: Aiden O'Sullivan

"On our trip to the Rubin museum the class walked up a spiral staircase and listened to the sound from the speaker below, this print was inspired by those sounds.

I first cut out some thin foam shapes and inked them in the press with yellow. Then I applied them (ink side up) to the blue inked plexi glass in order to form yellow shapes in a blue background. I used pre soaked printmaking paper and the resulting image took up the whole paper.

My print is of a dripping pipe."
