Field Trip! The World is Sound

Today we took a field trip to see The World is Sound exhibit at the Rubin Museum of Art, a museum focused on Himalayan and Buddhist art in NYC. The assignment was to listen with your eyes; to feel the sound and look for visuals, colors, and gestures within the vibrations. Ultimately, to use the sounds of the exhibit as inspiration for a series of monotype prints that we will make back in the classroom.
