Making Meaning: Printmaking and Social Justice (Part 1)

For project #2, the students are exploring the rich legacy of printmaking as a communications tool for social justice and activism. Each student was asked, "What gets you up in the morning? What issue--either personal or societal--do you care most about?" Then taking a positive spin on the issues that mean the most, the students are illustrating topics ranging from unity and acceptance, to body positivity, to women's equality, and animal rights. Below is a sneak peek at what we accomplished on Day 3.
